Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the use of this website and to quotations, bookings and work carried out by Welsh Plumbing & Heating, 77 Renfrew Street, Glasgow G2 3BZ.

Using this website

The content on this site is provided for general information about our services. It isn't technical advice for a specific appliance or installation. Gas appliances must only be worked on by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Quotations

• Prices given over the phone or by email before we have seen the work are estimates. Written quotations are based on the information available at the time.
• Where additional work becomes necessary — for example pipework or parts that could not be seen beforehand — we will discuss it with you and agree the cost before continuing.
• Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation.

Bookings and access

We'll agree a date and approximate time with you. We need safe, clear access to the appliance, the gas meter and the working area, and someone aged 18 or over must be present. If we can't gain access, or if a visit is cancelled at short notice, we may need to charge for the wasted visit.

Payment

Payment terms are confirmed with your quotation or invoice. Ownership of any supplied equipment passes to you once payment has been received in full.

Warranties and workmanship

Manufacturer warranties on new appliances are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to their terms, including annual servicing and registration. Our workmanship is carried out to the relevant standards and manufacturer instructions. Faults developing on parts or systems we have not worked on are not covered.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.

Your consumer rights

Where you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights, including any right to cancel a contract entered into off our premises within the applicable cancellation period.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
